  This hotel has a delightful old world ambience with a warm, welcoming staff. There was excellent service and food was of a high quality and well presented. Though top of our local restaurant price range it was good value for money. As dog owners we noticed owners and their dogs were made most welcome which is rarely seen in English establishments.

  We have stayed here many times and we can highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard. The house keeping is excellent, all rooms are impecably clean. The staff team are consistantly kind, friendly and helpful. Having eaten meals in both the bar and the restuarant we can confirm that the food served is delicious and of excellent quality. We just can't wait to stay again.
  Just gets better and better.

  We came to the Rose and Crown for Easter Sunday lunch and it was excellent. The food and service were top notch and we had a brilliant time. Would definitely come here again.
